I am so happy to be teaching your child this year. I have been teaching since 1998, up until this year has all been with Fort Worth ISD, I am currently the Science Department Chair at Crowley Middle School. I believe that all students have the right to learn and that it is my job to give them that opportunity. I have a passion for physics (and technology). I grew up in a small town in northern Oklahoma (Tonkawa). When I was around thirteen years old I was introduced to physics by a man that worked for my father in the summer (he went to Oklahoma State during the year). I immediately knew I wanted to do something like that with my life.
When I graduated high school I went to Northern Oklahoma College. My studies at Northern Oklahoma College included engineering physics, trigonometry, calculus and an independent study in the physics of holography. I earned an associates in engineering from NOC. I went on to the University of Central Oklahoma where I furthered my studies in physics based computer science and engineering. I finished my undergraduate degree in 1997 at Oklahoma State University where I earned my Bachelors in Secondary Science Education with an emphasis on physics. In 2004 I earned my Masters degree in Information Systems from Tarleton State University. I am currently a full time faculty member at Arlington Heights High School where I teach Physics and Honors Physics. I have been adjunct faculty member at Tarrant County College Trinity Campus since 2009 where I teach Business Information System classes along with Computer Information System. I meet my wife Angela in Church in 2001 and we were married in 2006. She is a Reading Specialist for a small company in Fort Worth. We have two wonderful daughters Avery and Audrey (Yes I get confused at home all the time with Angela, Audrey and Avery). Both love their Babbas (that her grandparents, Audrey made up the term) swimming, snoopy, Chick-fil-a and the muppets. |
Thank you for taking the time to contact me. If you would rather send me an Email feel free too.
